Closing the gap

Post by clearsite » Sat Jan 31, 2009 9:25 am

Hi.. All going fine. Just one small issue. We have 3 modules published in right position each to serve a small banner. Is there a way of closing the spaces between the modules? See screenshot attached.

I haven't tried that! I'll give it a go and see if I can spot the problem (if there is one).

Okay, I've tried that and I can confirm that there is nothing in the module that is causing the spacing. It must be the CSS in your template that is causing the issue.

Try taking out all the CSS in your template and you will see the modules sit next to each other.

Many thanks for checking this. You're right - and now fixed. All working fine: your component handles things on a single config pane and also deliversflashbanners: so perfect for what we want.

Would also like to make a long term feature request that one could have a banner set randomised (like in the default banner component). Would just save having to set up multiple modules when one wants (say) a column of banners. But not vital!

New version (1.5.7) will now deliver multiple banners at random. Just put the banners in the same location.
