Content restriction to specific users/usergroups

Is there a way to serve banners to specific users or usergroups - if not, could you add it to the wishlist.

The only way to do it would be to restrict specific content to those people.

I'll add it to the wishlist but, to be honest, I'm concerned it would make the extension quite heavy load wise.

That would be a cool feature to have. What exactly do you mean by 'heavy load wise,' Andrew? Would it mean a signficant performance drop?

It would add to the queries performed and FlexBanner already uses a lot.

At present, my efforts are getting FlexBanner ready for Joomla 4.

Could you not do that by using Advance Module Manger (Regular Labs pro version)? There you have all these settings
