Numerous error messages being generated!

Post by westlake » Wed Oct 01, 2014 3:09 pm

My website is generating a series of error messages pointing to Flexbanner files.

On pages where there is no banner, it genereates a number of error messages
for examples see the attached image or http://skateparktour.ca/index.php/ab

On pages where there is a banner, it generates the banner and gives this error message
Strict Standards: Declaration of JCacheControllerView::get() should be compatible with JCacheController::get($id, $group = NULL) in /home/skate094/public_html/libraries/joomla/cache/controller/view.php on line 137

Example page: http://skateparktour.ca/index.php/ab/98 ... rk-olds-ab

Flexbanner and the site has worked well for many months as configured, this occurred without any changes being made

The difference is you are now seeing php warnings so either you or your host has changed the error reporting level. You simply need to turn off the display of warnings.

Thanks.! Where is that setting? Is it in Joomla or on the host's Control Panel? I've looked at both but not found a setting for error reporting.

There's a setting in the Joomla configuration but it may also be on your server.
