MySQL error

Post by GrahamZA » Tue Sep 01, 2009 10:27 am

I've installed the Component in Joomla 1.5.14 and set it up. Where the banner is supposed to be displayed I'm getting an error:

Code: Select all

Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in xxx/mysql.php on line 344
What could it be?

Did you have any trouble installing the component?

Have you correctly set up a banner i.e. the full location etc?

Can you do a screen capture of the banner set up?

Hi - I am having this same problem - but only on a few pages, I checked the settings and positions - and all seems to be in order - but on just a few pages - I am getting this error where the leaderboard banner should be:

/public_html/libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 344

any ideas?

Thanks,
Kari

I'm sorry but without more information to work with it isn't possible to give you any advice.

As I've indicated, I cannot replicate this problem so, without more information, I cannot help.

As it only happens on some pages I would start by seeing what other extensions are used on the pages where this happens.
